Introduction
Iolite Sunstone (also known as the Vision Stone) is a stone found only in India, in colors of blue, violet blue, purple and orange. They are commonly mistaken with manmade stones like Gold Sandstone and Blue Sandstone which are made of glass. Individually, Iolite is known as Water Sapphire and have been used as a tool by Ancient Vikings to navigate the direction of sunlight. While the Sunstone is believed to carry energies of the sun to energize the sun gods, Ra (Egypt) and Helios (Greek).
